As its name suggests, the Ride consists of a chair mounted to a rail that carries the nominated player through a series of gunge devices. The rest of the players have to race to find and act on clues that will prevent the various stages of the ride from activating, earning points and keeping their nominee clean.

In the third season version, the Ride is located within the walls of the Security Room, and concludes in a plunge into a vat of green slime which is also used for the security room's other games.

The first IZ story introduced Gwen Sorwen's last game as the Ride, but the Industrial Zone crew later chose instead to give that name to this machine and rebranded the device Gwen was in as the Slimeulator.

The Ride was inspired by the insanely elaborate Trip Around the Great House from Noel's House Party, where guests would ride a ghost-train-like car being sprayed with slime before concluding with a large gunging in the fireplace.
