The Cockpit is situated at the front of The Shuttle in the third season of Industrial Zone. It's accessed from the walkway around the edge of the hangar in the Processing Wing, where the craft can be moved so that its transparent front swings up and its nose is level with the walkway. One team member is sent inside, where they're seated at a dashboard with a flight stick in front of them.

From here the game varies, but usually the player has to cooperate with their team to complete a video game style challenge while cooperating with their team on the walkway (who might be able to see obstacles on their monitor that the player can't, and have to communicate that to them). If they fail the game, they get covered with slime and foam from sprayers at the top and sides of the cockpit, as well as splashing on their front from under the dashboard.

The cockpit was inspired by the Hotseat from Hangar 17, another cockpit-like gunge tank with a prominent (but non-functional) joystick.
