Backstage Crew 2 (also called Project Otter) is a sequel story by TheFanfox to the first Backstage Crew story which follows {zchar:cara} a few months into working on the {zshow:iz} set. Becoming more comfortable and beginning to fit in with the rest of the crew, she is confronted with the friends who once jokingly applied her for the show back in her university days, both taking part in an interval game that day. After taking many steps forward, will this set her back to square one?

==== Inspiration ====

Backstage Crew 2 was an idea that TheFanFox had since a little while after the first story, but at the time she had trouble writing the main core of the story in a way that felt plausible and eventually the story was abandoned.

Years later, after getting back in contact with Iron-K, the idea came back to her and she figured out a way to place new characters into the setting of the Industrial Zone and managed to write the sequel out within 3 months.

Words taken from the mouths of some of the new characters come from past conversations with friends TheFanFox had about her fears when younger, as well as the character of Lorna and Cara's own growth in confidence coming from the author's own coming to terms with fears in her real life.
