A large version of a classic toy, the Live Wire Loop is an inch-thick kinked metal bar that twists in a loop a few inches above head height. Three of the players have to take it in turns to take a pole and guide the loop on the top end of it around the circle, avoiding allowing the loop to touch the wire. The fourth team member is seated inside a gunge tank in the centre of the room, wired to activate whenever a touch is detected. Alternatively, the team can be provided with three chances, with the third touch dropping all the gunge on to the nominee.
