Uma is the younger sister of {zchar:rachel}, born four years later so she entered college the year after Rachel left. The sisters shared a room in their family house until Rachel moved out to college. She has a loud personality and a sense of humour that can sometimes come across as mean. This caused conflict with Rachel throughout their childhood, though as an adult Rachel knows she doesn't really intend to be hurtful.

Her older sister wanted to gunge her during Rachel's appearance on {zshow:iz}, but Uma was still only fifteen at the time and unable to go on the show. A few years later, Uma instead nominated her for {zshow:cc} along with her boyfriend {zchar:dalziel}, and took part in several games in which she was gunged before ultimately winning the chance to drop Rachel in the show's iconic slime vat.

She's been romantically involved with {zchar:dalziel} since they met in their last year of school, but they didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time alone together until they attended {zplace:parkmoor} together.

She is a vegetarian, not because of any objections but just because she doesn't really enjoy the texture and taste of meat.
