Nyte Argent is a black-furred feline with a grey stripe from his chin to his tummy area. He has naturally white hair that he dyes in varying styles - usually fading to red or blue at the tips. He does his best to project a relaxed and confident personality but is secretly fairly insecure underneath. His full first name is "Nitrogen", a fact that he tries his best not to mention - the name was invented by his father, who wanted to name him in some way after the number seven for luck.

He was 18 years old when he appeared on {zshow:iz}, having sent an application in online in his first year of university, and met his long-term partner {zchar:isla} when she appeared on the same team. The other players were {zchar:quinne} and {zchar:becky}, who he has kept in touch with as well.

He applied for IZ for not entirely pure reasons, being that he has a major gunge fetish and wanted to live it out among the show's usual very female-weighted contestant pool. He got his wish, and despite his confident act he found himself overwhelmed and outmatched by the girls, particularly Isla - a position that he didn't mind at all.

His interest in slime came fairly late - as a child he was more scared than interested in the messy game sections on children's television. When secondary school age he happened to discover online videos of some of the shows he used to watch and went back to see if they were really as frightening as he remembered - this time being able to understand how excited particularly the girls acted when about to be gunged. He kept this feeling hidden, still thinking he was enjoying something that he wasn't supposed to, and it morphed into a sexual interest. Nyte was originally called Nate, but was quickly changed when Iron-K met an estate agent who was responsible for closing his first house by the same name at about the same time Industrial Zone 7 was started. He was changed to a less human name without much thought, and the whole backstory about his ridiculous full name came later.
